Review of LITTLE PRINCES

Little Princes (William Morrow, 2011) is about Conor Grennan (the author) and his three-month volunteer job at a children’s home in Nepal. Turned out to be a little longer than three months…

It’s a refreshing story of someone who admits his ignorance—about children, Nepali customs, the challenges faced by that society, and the reasons behind difficult choices. But Conor learns. He grows as a person. He admits mistakes and begins again. And throughout it all, he has one goal: to help innocent children who cannot help themselves.

It’s a heartwarming, truly touching story. I highly recommend it. As a bonus, part of the proceeds from the sale of the book go toward helping reunite children with their families and stopping the outrageous act of child trafficking.
